Brewing with filter coffee or pour over, 1:17

Ratio : 15g coffee to 255ml water @ 200F - Salt like grind size please

  1. Wet the filter to rinse out the paper taste of the water, and to preheat your carafe.

  2. Pour in 15g of coffee.

  3. Tare the scale

  4. Pour 30g of water to bloom. Stir the grounds to make sure everything is wet by the brew water, to evenly release gas.

  5. Pour in the rest of your water.

  6. Using the tip of your spoon, glide it on the top of your brew clockwise and counterclockwise once to keep an even extraction and to refrain from the grinds staying on the side

  7. You are successful on your brew if your grinds are flat on the brewer.

Yay! Then gulp to your liking.

If you’re using a drip machine, you may double or triple the amount of coffee you need according to you. 30grams of coffee, then multiply to 17 is 510ml of water. Everything is suggested, but please enjoy it in a way that brings a smile on your face. Cheers!
